The Last To Disappear
Drama / 6 x 60' / HD, Airline, DVD, Non-Theatric
A Newgrange Pictures Production in Co-Production with Yellow Film & TV for Elisa Viihde
Vicky’s estranged brother, Alex, a composed Irish lobbyist hiding a hot temper, embarks on a journey from London to Lapland to retrieve his sister’s body after his family is rocked by the news of her death. There, he encounters Agatha Koski, a capable and pragmatic single mother and the lead investigator on the case, who reveals that Vicky’s death was no accident.
As they delve into her murder, Alex is haunted by his estrangement from his sister prior to her death. Unbeknownst to him, Agatha is likewise haunted by a troubled family history – but in her case her ‘ghost’ is still very much alive and continuing to threaten her and her children’s lives.
The mystery over Vicky’s murder deepens as they realise it may be part of a pattern of disappearances in the area over the past two decades.
As Agatha confronts the powerful figures exploiting the town’s reputation for personal gain and solves three cold cases in the process, Alex uncovers his sister’s killer in this Nordic blue, character-driven crime drama.
