Double Brit winner Emeli Sandé up for two Novello awards

Double Brit winner Emeli Sandé is in line for further accolades, having been nominated for two prizes at next month’s Ivor Novello awards. The 26-year-old’s Next To Me track is nominated for the best song musically and lyrically award and is also up for the most performed work prize.

DCD Rights distributes Sandé’s major live concert Live at the Royal Albert Hall (1×60’ / 1×100’) which showcases Emeli’s incredible voice in front of a captivated crowd at the iconic venue. The concert includes hit tracks ‘Next To Me’, ‘My Kind Of Love’ and ‘Heaven’ and guest performances from Labrinth and Professor Green.

The star recently won two Brit Awards for British female and British album. She became one of the UK’s top selling artists and achieved world fame after her stunning performances at the 2012 Olympic ceremonies.

The 58th Ivor Novello awards, recognized worldwide as a major platform for rewarding Britain’s songwriting and composing talents, will be presented in London on 16 May.
