DCD Rights inks sales and acquires Emeli Sandé & Blur concerts ahead of Brit Awards

Emeli Sandé is up for three Brit Awards and Blur’s Damon Albarn is up for Best Producer Brit Award

International distributor DCD Rights has acquired worldwide rights Emeli Sandé and Blur’s major live concerts and sold its latest music programmes to Europe, America and Asia.

Emeli Sandé – Live at the Royal Albert Hall (1×60’ / 1×100’) showcases Emeli’s incredible voice in front of a captivated crowd at the iconic venue. Sandé is one of the UK’s top selling artists and became world famous after her stunning performances at the 2012 Olympics. She is up for Best British Album, Best Female Solo Artist and Best British Single of the Year at the Brit Awards 2013. She also features in British Single for Labrinth’s ‘Beneath Your Beautiful’. The concert includes hit tracks ‘Next To Me’, ‘My Kind Of Love’ and ‘Heaven’ and guest performances from Labrinth and Professor Green.

Blur – Parklive (1×60’) captures kings of Britpop, Blur live in Hyde Park in the summer of 2012. The performance was a companion concert to the Closing Ceremony of the 2012 London Olympic Games. The hit songs performed by the band include ‘Girls & Boys’, ‘Country House’, ‘Parklife’ and ‘Tender’. Damon Albarn from Blur is up for ‘British Producer’ at the upcoming Brit Awards on 20th February.

Meanwhile Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds Live at the O2 was sold to WHD (Japan), ZDF (Germany), Direct 8 (France), HBO (Central Europe), Globosat (Brazil), and Phoenix Satellite Television (Hong Kong). Gallagher’s triumphant performance at London’s 02 Arena is part of his extensive 2012 world tour featuring hit tracks from his number one debut album.
