DCD Rights dramas honoured at the 2015 AACTA’s

Two dramas distributed worldwide by DCD Rights have been honoured at the prestigious annual AACTA Awards in Sydney.

Six-part political thriller series The Code scooped six awards including Best Television Drama Series, Best Direction In A Television Drama or Comedy, Best Original Score and Best Editing.

The Code actor Ashley Zuckerman picked up Best Actor In A Television Drama – the category in which his co-star Dan Spielman was also nominated – and Chelsie Preston Crayford won Best Supporting Actress In A Television Drama.

Dreamland/Utopia* picked up Best Television Comedy Series in a strong category that also included DCD Rights distributed drama The Moodys.

The Code, starring Lucy Lawless and Aden Young was the winner of the Original Television Mini-Series category and the Best In All Mediums award at the AWGIE’s earlier in the year.

*Utopia has been renamed Dreamland for international distribution purposes
