Love Me and Jack Irish earn Logie nominations

16 May 2022

Following a 2 year hiatus due to Covid, nominations for the 62nd TV Week Logie Awards have been announced, with Love Me recording 7 nominations, the most of any drama. Love Me – a Warner Bros. International Television Australia Production for the Foxtel Group, with major production investment from Screen Australia and support from Film Victoria – is distributed internationally by DCD Rights. The 6-part series was nominated in the categories of Most Popular Drama Program and Most Outstanding Drama Series, with stars Hugo Weaving, Bojana Novakovic, Will Lodder, and Heather Mitchell all receiving various nominations for their performances.

Along with Hugo Weaving, Guy Pearce was also nominated in the category of Most Popular Actor for his starring role in Jack Irish. The third and final series – again produced by Easy Tiger Productions, and distributed internationally by DCD Rights – premiered last year on ABC in Australia.

We are delighted by the news of these nominations, and would like to congratulate all involved with both series, as well as wishing the nominees the best of luck. The Logie Awards will be held on Sunday June 19th at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.
